Stan Lee Creates First Gay Superhero

Here at GoLeft, we’re excited about the idea of Stan Lee creating a gay superhero not just for the sake of representation (which is always important) but for the opportunities to explore the overlapping difficulties of being forced to live in hiding because people do not accept your difference, committing your life to making a better world even when that world includes people who are out to get you, and the eternal superhero theme of finding strength in individuals who we assume are weak. Showtime is planning an hour-long show based upon the comic. We’ll keep you updated as we learn more.
